Online Store Frequently Asked Questions

What types of payments do you accept?

In our online store, the method of payment is PayPal. PayPal is a secure payment processor that accepts credit and debit card payments without a PayPal account. You will need a PayPal account to send money from your account (similar to mailing a check) or to use their Bill Me Later® feature.

If you are purchasing locally at an event where I am a vendor, I can process your credit or debit card payment through Square (www.squareup.com). I also accept checks made payable to “Scrappin’ Memories”

Can I order by phone?

Yes! If you are not comfortable providing your credit card online or have a special request, you can contact us at 707-447-3838. Please leave a message with your name, phone number and time of day you can be reached so that we can call you back. Payments on phone orders will be processed through Square or by cash/check. 

What are my shipping options?

All our items are shipped using USPS, UPS or FedEx. We currently only ship within theUnited States, US territories and APOs. Priority or overnight shipping upgrades are possible. Contact us directly for pricing.

How long will it take to get my order?

All orders ship within 1-2 business days of ordering – most within 24 hours. Scrappin’ Memories is located in scenic Northern California, so those buyers located closest to us tend to have the shortest shipping times. East coast purchasers and locations outside the continental US can expect longer shipping times. If you are in a hurry, rush orders and priority or overnight shipping upgrades are possible. Contact us directly for pricing.

Generally speaking, you can expect the following shipping times:

1-2 Business Days: CA, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA

1-3 business days: Domestic APO/FPO boxes

2-3 Business Days: AZ, CO, FL, LA, MA, ME, MS, ND, NH, RI, SD, TX, VA, VT, WY

3-4 Business Days: IA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MO, OH, WI

4-5 Business Days: AL, AR, CT, DE, GA, KS, MN, OK, PA, MD, NE, NC, NJ, NY, SC, TN, WV

5-10 business days: Non-continental US locations, APO/FPOs and territories.

Please be sure that proper APO/FPO addressing is used to ensure a speedy delivery. For shipments to military addresses, the Department of Defense has requested that you use the service member's full name (with or without grade, rank, or rating). Also required is the unit designation and APO/FPO address with the 9-digit ZIP Code (if one is assigned, otherwise 5-digit). Do not include the base camp's city, as it might be incorrectly routed through the host country's mail system.

During checkout from this store, enter unit specific information in the "Address 1", "Address 2" and "Company" (if needed) fields. However, ONLY ENTER APO or FPO in the City field and then select the appropriate destinations in the State field (e.g. AA, AE, AP).

Do you have a print catalog?

No. Our inventory changes too frequently to have a print catalog. However, all our items are available for viewing online.

What is a Promo Code?

Promo codes are occasionally issued to frequent buyers, event attendees and customers interested in local pick-up. The promo code for local pick-up (no shipping costs) is LOCAL. When you enter this word in the Promo Code field during check-out, you will not be charged for shipping. Arrangements for pick-up and/or local delivery to scrapbooking events can be arranged through the Contact Us link.

Can I purchase a gift certificate to your store?

Absolutely!!

What happens if I want to return an item?

Sometimes, something you order turns out not to be what you wanted after all. Not a problem! We understand how that happens and are happy to accept returns. Returned items must be sent to us in their original, unopened packaging within 30 days of purchase and with a copy of your receipt for a full refund. Refunds, less the cost of shipping, will be issued in the form of store credit. There are never any re-stocking or service fees for returns.  

While we try our very hardest not to make a mistake with your order, if we send you the wrong item or there is any other problem with your order, please Contact Us immediately and we will work to solve the problem to your satisfaction.

Sales Tax

Because we are a re-seller located inCalifornia, we collect sales tax as part of any purchase where the items are being shipped to a California address. Other states may require that Internet purchases also be taxed; however, Scrappin’ Memories does not collect sales tax for other states. Therefore, if your state requires that you pay sales tax on Internet purchases, you will need to contact your state’s tax authority to directly remit any taxes you may owe.  

How do I use the Search function?

Products are displayed that match ALL keywords entered, so using fewer keywords (or partial keywords) returns the largest results. Using more keywords returns smaller (or more specific) results. For example, if you are looking for items related to a camping theme, entering the word “CAMP” in the search will show you items for CAMP, CAMPING, CAMPOUT, CAMPS, etc. If you were to enter the words “CAMPING OUT” you would only get the items that have both keywords CAMPING and OUT in their title or description.
